ARTPACE

Artpace is a non-profit contemporary art foundation located in downtown San Antonio. It was founded by artist and philanthropist Linda Pace in 1995 to serve as a creative "laboratory of dreams" for artists. The organization is dedicated to nurturing the artistic processes of emerging and established artists from Texas, the U.S., and around the world.

FIVE POINTS TRANSIT CENTER

The "Five Points Transit Center" in San Antonio is technically a transfer area that was renovated and upgraded in 2017. It is located at 106 E. Fredericksburg Road.
This project was a major investment by VIA Metropolitan Transit to enhance passenger amenities at a busy service station. A notable 18-foot ceramic pillar called "The Guardians of Five Points," created by San Antonio artist Diana Kersey, acts as a landmark for the area.

SAN PEDRO PLAYHOUSE

The San Pedro Playhouse is a historic theater and non-profit organization located at 800 W. Ashby Place within San Pedro Springs Park. It is one of the oldest theaters in Texas and the oldest municipally built theater in the United States. The organization was first established in 1912 as the San Antonio Dramatic Club and later incorporated as the San Antonio Little Theatre in 1927.

HAUSMANN MILLWORKS CREATIVE COMMUNITY

Hausmann Millworks, located at 925 W. Russell Place in the Alta Vista neighborhood of San Antonio, is a creative community and art studio complex. Its history dates back to 1976 when Gene Hausmann, after graduating from Trinity University, first opened a furniture design shop. The complex now features over 65 studios for artists and artisans.

JUMPSTART PERFORMANCE COMPANY

Jump-Start Performance Co. is a non-profit contemporary arts organization founded in San Antonio in 1985. It is located in the city's Deco District, at 710 Fredericksburg Road. The company creates, produces, and presents over 500 original performance works each year, featuring local, national, and international artists.

CLAMP LIGHT ARTISTS AND STUDIO GALLERY

Clamp Light Artist Studios & Gallery was established in 2009. It is an artist-run studio and exhibition space dedicated to supporting contemporary artists in San Antonio and South Texas. They provide studio space for resident artists working in a variety of media, including ceramics, sculpture, photography, and jewelry. It serves as a creative hub for artists to network, collaborate, and push their creative boundaries.

JEWEL OF ART DANCE STUDIO


The Jewel of Art Dance Studio, founded in 2016, is located on Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio's historic Deco District. The studio was founded by Jackleen Ríos, a long-time San Antonio dancer and teacher who realized her lifelong dream of opening a dance studio with this venture.

DANZAVIDA DE SAN ANTONIO DANCE COMPANY


Danzavida de San Antonio Dance Company was founded in 2008 by Krystal Diaz, then a 16-year-old former Miss San Antonio. The company, also known as Danzita, opened its doors to teach children and adults a variety of dance styles. Danzavida de San Antonio is located in the Deco District at 1933 Fredericksburg Road, Suite 110.

BIHL HAUS ARTS

Bihl Haus Arts is a non-profit contemporary art gallery that opened in 2005. It is located at 2803 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, on the premises of the Sorento senior apartments (formerly Primrose at Monticello Park). On & Off Fredericksburg Road Studio Tour: Bihl Haus organizes this annual tour that features dozens of artists who live and work along the historic Deco District corridor.

CENTRO CULTURAL AZTLAN

Centro Cultural Aztlan is a non-profit organization located in the Deco Building at 1800 Fredericksburg Road, Suite 103, in San Antonio. It was founded in 1977 by a group of community organizers active in the Chicano movement. The organization's core mission is to preserve, develop, and promote Chicano/Latino art and culture. It does this through a variety of cultural activities and events that involve writers, performing artists, musicians, and visual artists.

NETWORK FOR YOUNG ARTISTS


The Network for Young Artists (NYA) is a non-profit organization in San Antonio dedicated to providing accessible and affordable performing arts education. The network offers unlimited classes in voice, dance, guitar, drums, and piano for a low monthly fee. Classes are available to students ages 4 to 20 to develop their talents in the performing arts.

RAICES DE ARTE ESPANOL

Raíces de Arte Español is a school of flamenco and Spanish dance located in San Antonio's Deco District, at 1722 Fredericksburg Road. The company's main goal is to promote the art of Spanish dance and culture. They are dedicated to teaching flamenco and other styles of Spanish dance to students of all ages.
