ELOTITOS CORN BAR - MONTICELLO PARK NA

Elotitos Corn Bar was founded by Jesus Arreaga, who was inspired during the quarantine of 2020 to create a destination for Mexican street corn. The concept was to replicate the community feel of a coffee shop, but with corn as the main offering.

PANCAKE JOE'S - JEFFERSON NA

Pancake Joe's is a family-owned breakfast and lunch spot in San Antonio, founded in 2010 by Jose Cruz, a native of Mexico. He opened his first location in the historic Donaldson Terrace neighborhood, fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. The original location is at 1011 Donaldson Ave.

TAQUERIA DATA POINT - JEFFERSON NA

Taqueria Datapoint began as a popular food truck on Datapoint Drive before opening its first storefront in 2003, founded by a family passionate about sharing authentic Mexican cuisine. After years of expansion, its flagship Medical Drive location was damaged by a fire in 2020 and temporarily operated out of a food truck. Following a lengthy renovation, the Medical Drive restaurant successfully reopened in May 2023. The taqueria chain, famous for its mini tacos, now has multiple locations across San Antonio.

UNKO MAUI'S - JEFFERSON NA

Unko Maui's Burgers is a Hawaiian-inspired burger joint located at 1815 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio's Deco District. It was opened in March 2025 by Samoan chef Maui Mike, the owner of the successful Maui's on Main. The restaurant serves creative burgers that blend Hawaiian and Texan flavors.

LA BANDERA MOLINO - JEFFERSON NA

La Bandera Molino is a long-standing San Antonio establishment specializing in traditional Mexican cuisine, fresh masa, and baked goods. The name combines two key aspects of the business: "La Bandera," which means "the flag" in Spanish, and "Molino," meaning "mill". Located at 2619 N Zarzamora St, the business has also served as a molino de masa, or a mill for masa dough.

EL COCO RAYADO - WOODLAWN NA

El Coco Rayado is a San Antonio Mexican restaurant and frutería at 2303 N Zarzamora St, known for authentic food and fresh fruit drinks. The restaurant serves a full menu of Mexican cuisine, from breakfast tacos to enchiladas and nachos, alongside fresh fruit-based beverages and treats. A popular neighborhood spot in the Woodlawn Lake area for years, it has earned a reputation for its consistent quality, fresh ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere.

THE BOARD COUPLE - WOODLAWN NA

The Board Couple is a charcuterie and wine company in San Antonio, founded by Monica Nino and Bryan Gonzales in 2018. It began as a passion project for the couple, who were inspired by an elaborate grazing table Nino saw at a wedding in Italy. After posting their own charcuterie boards on Instagram, they began receiving requests and saw an opportunity to turn it into a full-time business.

DIANA'S BURGERS - WOODLAWN NA

Diana's Burgers is a family-friendly, no-frills burger joint located at 2202 N. Zarzamora St. in San Antonio, near Woodlawn Lake. Opened in January 2019 by Diana Madrid, the sister of the late San Antonio burger legend Chris Madrid, the restaurant is known for continuing her family's burger legacy.

THE WICKED WICH - WOODLAWN NA

The Wicked Wich is a popular sandwich shop in San Antonio known for its hearty, nostalgic sandwiches and rock 'n' roll vibe. It was founded by Feliza Salazar, who started the concept as a pop-up in 2022 before opening a permanent location at 825 Fredericksburg Road in 2023.

THE LIGHTHOUSE LOUNGE - WOODLAWN NA

Neighborhood lounge, pet friendly with the best sunset view in San Antonio. Cocktails, ice cold beer and a nice selection of craft beers. There are live performances from local musicians almost nightly and have a monthly flea market called Varrio Vintage.

STARBUCKS - KEYSTONE NA

Seattle-based coffeehouse chain known for its signature roasts, light bites and WiFi availability.

EL PARAISO ICE CREAM - KEYSTONE NA

Since 1984, El Paraiso Ice Cream has been creating delicious ice cream and fruit bars. El Paraiso Ice Cream is the original paleta company in San Antonio Texas. Paletas are a frozen concoction dessert. The many flavors of El Paraiso Ice Cream are influenced by the culture of Guadalajara, Zacatecas, and Aguascalientes, Mexico. Our original homemade recipes were perfected in Chicago, Illinois. Therefore, El Paraiso Ice Cream flavors range from most popular to the most unique, but always holding the American standard. PANADERIA JIMENES & COFFEE SHOP - KEYSTONE NA

Panaderia Jimenez is a traditional Mexican bakery and coffee shop in San Antonio's Deco District, operated by the Jimenez family since 1969. The shop, run by the Jimenez brothers, is known for its sweet breads, cookies, cakes, and coffee, all made from scratch using decades-old family recipes. Favorites include conchas, empanadas, and homemade sausage kolaches. The bakery was opened in 1969 by the Jimenez family and is now run by the Jimenez brothers. Master Baker Luis Ramiro Jimenez is responsible for the bakery's delicious treats. Panaderia Jimenez also offers savory options like homemade sausage kolaches.

RIOS BARBACOA - KEYSTONE NA

Rios Barbacoa is a multi-location, family-owned business in San Antonio that specializes in traditional Mexican barbacoa, tamales, and menudo. The business was founded in 1978 by Heriberto R. Rios on Zarzamora Street and has since expanded to multiple locations, with different family members operating each one.

THE HUT DINER - KEYSTONE NA

The Hut Diner is a cozy, old-school, family-owned diner located at 1610 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio's Deco District. It serves classic American and Tex-Mex comfort food for breakfast and lunch. The small eatery offers a throwback atmosphere with counter seating, allowing customers to watch their food being cooked on the open grill. Known for its friendly service, reasonable prices, and hearty meals, it has earned a loyal local following.

THE LIGHTHOUSE SEAFOOD - KEYSTONE NA

The Lighthouse Seafood is a family-owned, counter-service seafood restaurant located at 1212 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio. Known for its fresh and affordable seafood, the menu features a variety of fried and broiled options, including fish, shrimp, oysters, and gumbo. The casual eatery is recognized for its ocean-themed murals, friendly service, and distinctive exterior with a painted lighthouse.

COOL CREST MINIATURE GOLF COURSE - KEYSTONE NA

Cool Crest is one of the oldest miniature golf courses in the United States, located at 1402 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio. Originally opened in 1929 during the country's miniature golf craze, it features two distinct 18-hole courses—one from 1929 and the other from 1959.

JACKED-IN VR - KEYSTONE NA

Ever dreamed of going on adventures? Yeah, us too! Jacked-In VR is a hyperreal Virtual Reality experience that allows you to go on adventures that are simply not possible in real life. Instead of doing the same old stuff with your friends, Jacked-In allows you to team up with friends and enter into a movie or a video game. Your real body becomes your virtual body, allowing you to become the protagonist of the story.

BLACK POTION - KEYSTONE NA

Black Potion is San Antonio's original tabletop game tavern, located at 1900 Fredericksburg Rd, Suite 101, in the Deco District. It provides a dedicated space for playing board games, card games, and other tabletop games, with a large library of games available for free use.

THE STARLIGHTER - KEYSTONE NA

The Starlighter is a live music and event venue in San Antonio's Deco District, co-founded by Jason Valdez, Selena Rios, and Kayla and Jacob Guerrero in September 2021. In addition to live music from local and touring bands, the venue hosts other events like vendor markets and drag shows. Despite facing challenges, The Starlighter has maintained its place in the community with the support of its patrons.

WOODLAWN COMEDY - KEYSTONE NA

Woodlawn Comedy is a premier full-service production and events company providing top-tier live comedy and entertainment performances at the historic Woodlawn Theatre. The venue is strategically located in the Art Deco district within 10 minutes of downtown San Antonio. Designed by renowned architect John Eberson in 1945 and is now a flagship for Comedy shows in San Antonio, with a seating capacity of 985 (floor and balcony seating). The Woodlawn Theatre boasts a vast performance stage, 2 dressing/green rooms to accommodate more than 6 performers, and advanced lighting, audio, and visual production technology.

ROUNDABOUT - BEACON HILL NA

The Roundabout, also known as Roundabout Beacon Hill, is a unique hybrid venue and community hub located at 1710 Blanco Road in San Antonio's Beacon Hill neighborhood. Describing itself as "not quite a bar, not quite a restaurant," it offers a laid-back space for people to work, relax, or hang out with friends.

BRIGHT COFFEE - BEACON HILL NA

Bright Coffee is a cozy and vibrant coffee shop located at 1705 Blanco Road in San Antonio's Beacon Hill neighborhood. The shop, owned by Hana Buck, has been open since February 2022 and functions as both a cafe by day and a studio for events like swing dance classes at night

BEACON HILL MARKET AND DELI - BEACON HILL NA

Beacon Hill Market & Deli is an East Coast-style deli located at 1717 Blanco Road in San Antonio's historic Beacon Hill neighborhood. Opened in 2023 by Matt McLaughlin and Maray McChesney, the shop serves hoagies, grinders, and heroes on hearth-baked rolls flown in from Philadelphia.

BLANCO CAFE - BEACON HILL NA

Blanco Cafe is a family-owned San Antonio institution serving classic Tex-Mex food and all-day breakfast at affordable prices. It was founded by Alejandro F. San Miguel in 1974 with the opening of its original location at 1720 Blanco Road in the Beacon Hill neighborhood.

JULIA'S BISTRO - BEACON HILL NA

Julia's Bistro and Bar is a relaxed restaurant in San Antonio's Beacon Hill neighborhood, offering classic French dishes with a Texan flair. Located at 1725 Blanco Road, it was opened in November 2019 by restaurateur Jean Francois Poujol, a French native with decades of experience in the industry.

CHRIS MADRID'S - BEACON HILL NA

Chris Madrid's is a historic San Antonio burger restaurant founded in 1977 by Chris Madrid and known for its beloved Texas-style burgers, such as the famous Cheddar Cheezy and Tostada Burger. After Chris Madrid's death in 2012, the family continued running the business until selling it in 2017. A devastating fire forced a temporary closure and a move to a food truck, but the restaurant reopened in its rebuilt location in 2019, maintaining its original charm.

SOHILL CAFE - BEACON HILL NA

SoHill Cafe was an Italian restaurant located in San Antonio's Beacon Hill neighborhood at 1719 Blanco Road. It was opened in 2018 by veteran restaurateur Jean-Francois Poujol. The restaurant was known for its wood-fired pizzas, housemade pastas, and cozy atmosphere.

GARCIA'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT - BEACON HILL NA

The Garcia family has been serving San Antonio for over 58 years. Started by Julio and Yolanda in 1962. Their sons Andrew and John continue their legacy. Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant is most famous for their daily specials and brisket tacos. Voted best Mexican restaurant for brisket tacos by USA Today in 2018.

MARTINEZ BARBACOA AND TAMALES - BEACON HILL NA

Martinez Barbacoa y Tamales is a family-owned, takeout-only spot at 728 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, known for its traditional Mexican specialties. The restaurant is a local favorite for its flavorful barbacoa, menudo, and generously-sized tamales. It is only open from Friday through Sunday and often has a line of customers waiting for its delicious, affordable food.

PETER EL NORTENO - BEACON HILL NA

Peter El Norteno is a casual, no-frills Mexican restaurant located at 542 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio. Owned by Pedro Rodriguez, it has been serving traditional Mexican and American diner food since 2010.

LAS PICHANCHAS CAFE - BEACON HILL NA

Las Pichanchas is a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, known for its extensive menu of authentic cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Established in 1995, the restaurant has become a popular local dining destination. Located at 450 Fredericksburg Rd., it offers a range of dishes for breakfast and lunch, including handmade flour tortillas, carne guisada tacos, and chilaquiles. The colorful exterior and welcoming interior contribute to the restaurant's charm. The menu also includes breakfast plates, lunch specials, and tacos, with many customers noting the flavorful food and friendly service.

COPPER ROSE WINE - BEACON HILL NA

Elizabeth and her husband Victor embarked on Copper Rose opening the shop in January 2025. She talks about the ecosystem of business and neighborhoods that can be created for economic vitality. Their employees, gardeners, designers for the shop, all live in the neighborhood. Ever mindful, Elizabeth is conscious of the small business role, as a backbone to the local economy.

OUTLAW KITCHENS - ALTA VISTA NA

Outlaw Kitchens is an intimate neighborhood eatery in San Antonio's Alta Vista neighborhood, located at 2919 N Flores St. Owned and operated by chef Paul Sartory and his wife Peggy Howe, the restaurant offers a unique dining experience reminiscent of being a dinner guest in someone's home.

SCRATCH KITCHEN - ALTA VISTA NA

Scratch Kitchen is a family-owned bakery and eatery located in a charming, vintage building at 607 W Russell Place in San Antonio's Alta Vista neighborhood. Owners Becky Medellin and Jack Salmon moved the business from Edinburg, Texas, in 2017 after renovating the historic property themselves. It is known for its cozy atmosphere and has expanded with an Eastside commissary for catering services.

PHILO COFFEE - ALTA VISTA NA

Neighborhood café located in the Alta Vista neighborhood of San Antonio. We offer a wide range of coffee, tea, beer and wine as well as breakfast, lunch, late night bites and pastries.

THE TEXAS WINE SCHOOL - ALTA VISTA NA

The Texas Wine School is a 501(c)(3) organization offering wine education classes for the consumer and the wine industry. The TWS wants all its students to become confident about their wine choices, whether they’re in a restaurant or a retail store, or simply looking to be able to pick the right wine at a dinner out.

MIDTOWN MEETUP - ALTA VISTA NA

Midtown Meetup is in San Antonio and designed to bring friends and neighbors from the community together through food, drink, classes, and workshops!

M.K. DAVIS RESTAURANT - FIVE POINTS NA

In 1956, Melvin and Aurora Davis purchased a Lone Star Ice House and renamed it M.K. Davis Ice House, unknowingly making history. Initially offering cold beer, picnic tables, and sausage botanas, the menu grew as their customer base expanded. Mr. Davis took charge of the kitchen while Mrs. Davis managed the customers, and they started by serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and fried chicken.

KIMURA - FIVE POINTS NA

Kimura is a traditional Japanese eatery, specializing in ramen with a full sake and cocktail menu. Acclaimed Chef Michael Sohocki owns and operates Kimura as well as 3 other restaurants under the Gwendolyn group.

THE COVE - FIVE POINTS NA

The Cove is a unique, multifaceted restaurant and entertainment venue in San Antonio's Five Points neighborhood, located at 606 W. Cypress St. It is known for its "Sustainable, Organic, Local" (SOL) menu, expansive Texas beer garden, live music, and family-friendly atmosphere. Owner Lisa Asvestas opened The Cove in April 2001, initially as an afterthought to an existing laundromat and car wash on the property.
